The thing I find interesting about so many of these aparently arcane concepts is that they have a social, unconscious, ridiculous component in their parent society. Something so entirely uninspired always begs the question...what is really being said here?

A parting of moms' hair for the plebians.

A rich concept of self induced hell on the other.

Sometimes its really hard for me to take anything people do seriously.

What is the concept and its parent society you are referring to in this context? You mean Samskaras?

The parent society, Kaya, is the society that nutures the mental construct, in this case Karma.

Do these pattern of "energy" within the luminous field really determine the conditions of our life?

Do you honestly believe this?

Because I see something way more sophisticated at work here, not an origin but a step.

I see all kinds of stupid primitive nonsense behind karma, and this carries the aroma of entrainment and conditioning.

When I see a fiery golden light inside a persons head, I don't go "fuck, we gotta figure out how we can keep this one in line with our cosmic bullshit"!!!

But y'know what, thats what people in society do.

Yes they do to some degree. Just like we have patterns of behavior that determine the conditions of our life, we also have underlying patterns of energy that preceded the behavioral patterns. They live in our nervous system habits, which are an expression of our energy systems. It’s actually not that far fetched at all.

Is that all that is a available to us? No. There are templates that can bind us and then there is free flowing energy to tap into. That was part of the point of my post, that we have that choice.

We always have the choice to heal and integrate and change our karmic patterns, or any pattern for that matter, if you’re uncomfortable with the concept of karma. We have the choice to step out of the templates and move more freely from an awakened state.

There are many different levels and dimensions to the field and how we interface with it. Karma is one way to view this interface. I’ll agree that there is a lot of dumbed down stuff attached to the concept of karma but the underlying truth around how metaphysical exchange and programming occurs between us and the field is still relevant IMO.

Yes, patterns both emblematic and in a sense, structural.

What I'm about to say is in no way directed personally at you. It is rather a kind of assumption just sort of thrown out there, one that I run into without even trying. How do any of us really know what health is?

I know, this sounds D.A.F. on the surface, but consider, just for a moment.

A long term study on reincarnation out of iceland. The gifted are those exposed to trauma in previous life. Now, I don't think the study revealed a one to one ratio. Everyone who experienced trauma didn't come back gifted, some just got the boot to the face, but the correllation was strong enough for the observation to be made.

The young scholar who was able to breathe life into his translation of Master Dionysus work was regarded as particularly brilliant. He left the world soon after completing this effort. By accounts his life was tragic, yet he provided for mankind something no one else could then or now.

There is something going on here, Kaya, and not just with these examples.

I see a pattern in this, and from my point of view it strikes me that the issue of health and healing must be taken with this stuff, not separated from it.

Again, concerning karma, I just don't feel that it correctly models the issue.

So again this isn't personally aimed at you or anyone.
